EXHIBITION / MURAL @ Berlin Graphic Days 2019 - Berlin

english version below::: Diese Wandmalerei entstand im Rahmen der Gruppenausstellung der Berlin Graphic Days 2019, kuratiert von dem Berliner Künstler “The Krank”.
Die Ausstellung führte unterschiedliche Bereiche der visuellen Kunst zusammen, von Installationen über Skulpturen bis hin zu Streetart und Malerei.
Die Berlin Graphic Days finden regelmäßig an unterschiedlichen Veranstaltungsorten in Berlin statt – dieses Mal im Kreuzberger X Lane.

Der große, lichtdurchflutete Raum hat mich inspiriert, ein leichtes und dynamisches Bild zu malen. Der Hintergrund entstand sehr frei, malerisch und intuitiv: Je weiter die Ebenen im Vordergrund liegen, desto klarer, bewusster und geordneter sind sie. 

Wie in vielen meiner Arbeiten geht es um den Ausdruck eines Impulses, um die Darstellung eines Momentes, in dem sich unterschiedliche Elemente vereinen und verschmelzen.
Gesten und Bewegungen finden durch die Flächen und Linien zu ihrer Form.
Es geht mir in diesem Bild darum, eine Situation einzufangen, denn jeder Moment ist unwiderruflich und wird in derselben Art und Weise nicht noch einmal wiederkehren.

This wall painting was created during the group exhibition of the Berlin Graphic Days 2019, curated by the Berlin artist "The Krank".

The exhibition combined different areas of visual art, from installations to sculptures, street art and painting. The Berlin Graphic Days are held regularly at different venues in Berlin – this time in Kreuzberg's X Lane. 

The large, light-flooded room inspired me to paint a light and dynamic picture. The background was very free, picturesque and intuitive: The further the layers are in the foreground, the clearer, more conscious and more orderly they are.

As in many of my works, it is about the expression of an impulse, about the representation of a moment in which different elements unite and merge.
Gestures and movements find their shape through the surfaces and lines.

This picture is about capturing a situation because every moment is irrevocable and will not happen again in the same way. This thought inspires and evokes different feelings and thoughts in me. Everything is in flux, constantly in motion, an incessant cycle of creation and destruction, life and death, end and new beginning.
